Day TwoThe feature race is the Queen Mother Champion Chase over the 2m course and sees the fastest chasers do battle with no room for jumping errors. The rest of day two features 6 other top quality races including the Ballymore Novices Hurdle the best novices race of every Festival. The Juvenile Novice Hurdle race gives the chance for the young stars of the future to get a taste of the Cheltenham experience and probably a race best watched from a punting point of view. The Royal & Sunalliance chase is normally won by a tough out and out stayer and fortunes often change up the famous hill. The Coral Cup offers a chance to find a winner a monster odds though the big handicap means each way bets are normally advised. The Challenge Cup race gives the chance for an amateur jockey to win the longest race of the festival and more than 15 minutes of racing fame. The Champion Bumper is a race dominated by the Irish trained horses and if they win again it will guarantee one of the biggest cheers of any Festival. Champion Chase & BumperThe favourite day for spotting a future star! The QM Chase is a showcase race for the fastest chasers in the world and always sets a few fireworks off in the commentary box as the young guns flex their muscles. The finale of the day often see some of the biggest bets when the cream of the Irish NH horses in the making taking on the English talent, often a race that sees a decisive victor! The Bumper is also the key to many of next seasons horses to follow plans as well as a few betting systems, often using the first 10 home, such is the quality of the field that lines up. |
